Estate Planning, Trusts, Wills, & Probate

We provide legal counsel to our clients in estate planning, preservation of wealth, trust administration and settlement, probate and planned charitable giving.

We advise and work with our clients through all stages of developing estate plans to realize their personal estate planning goals. We first educate our clients to ensure they know and understand their estate planning options. Without such education, many clients do not know of, or understand, the many options they have in creating their estate plan.

We then work closely with our clients to create customized estate plans that work for them. Not all clients and client families are the same. We will take the time to understand the client, the client’s family and the client’s goals, hopes and aspirations. We will plan for the client’s possible incapacity. No one wants to become incapacitated, but it is important to plan to ensure that should the client become incapacitated, the client and the client’s loved ones will be taken care of in the way our client wishes them to be taken care of. We also will plan for the controlled transfer of the client’s wisdom and wealth to whom the client wants in the way that they want when the client is gone. Many clients and clients’ families agree that the clients’ life lessons and thoughts are as important as the material assets clients leave for their loved ones.

With transactional proficiency in real estate, business and tax, and knowledge of the industry, we are uniquely positioned to assist our clients who have business and real estate holdings.

We also will collaborate with our clients’ financial advisors, accountants and other professional advisors to the extent our clients consent. We believe in working as a team with other advisors for the purpose of better serving our clients.

The estate plans we develop with our clients

(ii) provide for the care of our clients and their loved ones if our clients become disabled, and

(iii) eventually give what our clients have to whom they want, when they want, and in the manner they choose.
